Bimatoprost

Bimaprostin is a kind of prostaglandin drug, which was first used to treat glaucoma and other ophthalmic diseases. The drug name is Lumigan. However, during the treatment, the patient accidentally found that the diameter, length and density of his eyelashes had increased significantly. Later, bimatoprost was used in the clinical trial of eyelash beauty. Its great effect on eyelash thickening and densification directly led to the targeted launch of Lattise by Lumeigen's production company Erjian. The drug was approved by the US FDA in December 2008, becoming a professional product for darkening and thickening eyelashes.

1.Treat of glaucoma

Bimatoprost powder is used topically (as eye drops) to control the progression of glaucoma and in the management of ocular hypertension.

It reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid from the eyes.
